Morning: Pickup & Old Delhi Sightseeing

You will be collected from your hotel or from the airport in Delhi to start your tour of Old Delhi.
Visit Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosques in India. Then ride to see the local street markets and activity along Chandni Chowk on a traditional rickshaw, continuing on to see the old Red Fort (with an opportunity to stop and take a picture).

Midday: New Delhi Highlights

Travel to New Delhi to view and learn about the Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the tallest Minaret and ancient ruins), and Humayun’s Tomb (an excellent example of Mughal architecture).

Lunch Break

You will enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants/hotels in Delhi at your own expense.

Afternoon: Modern Delhi Landmarks

After lunch, you will be taken to see The Lotus Temple (closed Mondays). You will learn about colonial India as you drive past India Gate, the Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan, be taken to visit Raj Ghat (the burial site of Mahatma Gandhi).
